THE GOAL:
Our goal was to create a digital campaign and produce a signature series sunglass that was fresh, impactful, and helped connect the Lakey Peterson persona, through her love of surfing and the Blenders Eyewear community. We wanted to increase awareness for Lakey Peterson, drive website traffic, and create interactions on social platforms. Effective mobile user experience on the website was essential to engage the audience following Lakey Peterson.
Lakey Peterson is an American professional surfer. She has been ranked as high as #1 by the World Surf League, the highest professional level of women's surfing, and #6 on the ASP Women's World Ranking In 2009, Peterson landed the first-ever aerial in NSSA women's competition history and won the title. And is also, part of the Blenders Athlete Team called the Blenders Entourage.
THE APPROACH:
We created a website experience that was simple and functional, yet totally unique. Our experienced creative and development teams hit the floor running. The campaign featured a blog post, multiple emails, photos, videos, and display ads. We also integrated social media as a component to engage user interaction.
